About the event
This 2.5 hour training session will cover the basics of how to conduct a seabird survey using the PSSS protocol, how to use the items provided to you in the survey kit, and how to submit data. You'll also have a chance to practice and ask questions.
The training session will take place at Owen Beach, Point Defiance Park. We'll meet at one of the picnic tables on the seafront, close by the kiosk. You do not need to bring anything except perhaps a pen to take notes, an umbrella in case it rains, and a camp chair as seating may be limited.
